Get an Attic Insulation Inspection
When you reach out to Universal Insulation Doctor, we will set up an appointment with one of our insulation experts to inspect your attic insulation.
Whether you need new attic insulation for a new home or you are looking to inspect the existing attic and crawl space insulation, we will assess the situation to find the right solution for your needs. We will determine if we need to remove your existing insulation and start over, or if we can just add to your existing insulation.
Our inspectors are trained to look for signs of rodent or wildlife nesting, droppings or urine.
We offer video or pictures of the before and after if requested, just let us know.

What is R Value? R value is an insulating material’s resistance to conductive heat flow measured or rated in terms of its thermal resistance or R value — the higher the R value, the greater the insulation effectiveness. The R value depends on the type of attic insulation, its thickness, and its density. The recommended level for most attics is to insulate to R-49 or about 15 to 16 inches, depending on the insulation type.
Sometimes your insulation may be worn down, has settled some, or is just not pulling its weight. If you don’t have any pest damage or other issues with the existing attic insulation, opting to add more is a great way to increase your insulation efficiency. Not to mention a great way to reduce heating and AC bills.
If you feel your insulation levels in your attic do not meet the recommended R-49, contact Universal Insulation Doctor today for your free quote.

A Premier Attic Insulation Product
You Deserve Options
Universal Insulation Doctor and Universal Pest & Termite offer a full-service option when it comes to attic insulation. Our equipment can install cellulose as well as fiberglass insulation. Our inspectors are trained to do a full inspection of your attic and crawl space and sit down with you to explain the differences between the different types of insulation available for your home. No high-pressure sales force, just a qualified local insulation inspector.
There are two material choices for loose-fill: Fiberglass / Cellulose Insulation.
Fiberglass Insulation includes sand or recycled glass and is lighter in weight than cellulose and mineral wool. However, it settles more than these materials, which means you need a thicker layer to insulate your attic well. This product is offered with (Fiber-Guard) or without a pest control blend.
Cellulose Insulation includes recycled post-consumer paper that is fiberized and packed tightly to inhibit airflow. This is the most used material in insulation. This product is offered with (PestGuard) or without a pest control blend.
